Plenary Answer: When was London Fire Brigade first aware that the vehicle fleet and equipment was in the ownership of Lloyds Bank?

Andrew Dismore

When was LFB (London Fire Brigade) first aware that the vehicle fleet and equipment was in the ownership of Lloyds Bank?

Answer

The fleet and equipment provided under the PFI contract has been the subject of a funding agreement with the banks since 2002. LFEPA is a signatory to that agreement so has always known about it. The fleet has been in the ownership of the Bank of Scotland, then HBOS and latterly Lloyds TSB during this time.
