Have your say on proposals for Cycle Superhighway Route 11 between Swiss Cottage and the West End

I received the below correspondence regarding the cycle superhighway route 11:

We are working with key stakeholders to propose a major new cycle route. Cycle Superhighway 11 (CS11) would provide a continuous route from Swiss Cottage to the West End.

Our proposals include:

·         Creating a continuous cycle route between Swiss Cottage and the West End

·         Enhancing Swiss Cottage by removing the one-way system, planting an avenue of trees and improving the public space outside the library

·         Making Avenue Road at Swiss Cottage a bus only road, with segregated cycle tracks to improve safety for cyclists

·         Introducing new or improved pedestrian crossing points along the route to improve safety for pedestrians

·         Reducing the volume and speed of traffic using the Outer Circle at The Regent’s Park to make cycling and walking a more pleasant experience

These proposals are intended to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians.

How can I find out more about CS11?

Leaflets will be delivered to properties along and near to the route of CS11. We’ll also be holding five drop-in sessions where TfL officers will be on hand to talk through details of the scheme.

You can have your say and find more information on our proposals, maps for each section of the route and details of how our proposals will impact upon journey times and traffic flows at tfl.gov.uk/cycling/cs-11.
