Upper Holloway Bridge replacement and closures

Residents of Barnet and Camden travelling on the A1 over December may wish to see the below update I recieved from TfL:

Upper Holloway Bridge replacement: A1 Holloway Road closed in both directions from 24 December 2016 to 16 January 2017

Temporary changes to pedestrian access on 27 and 28 December

A free shuttle bus also continues to operate every 10-12 minutes from 06:00 to midnight. It runs between temporary stops near Upper Holloway Station and stop L on Holloway Road (Nags Head), to connect with other bus routes serving the area.

The shuttle bus is due to run until 16 January, when Holloway Road is scheduled to re-open. Live bus service updates are available from www.tfl.gov.uk/bus/status and @TfLBusAlerts on Twitter.

New two-way traffic system planned at Archway from 18 December

You may also be aware, works to introduce the new two-way traffic system at Archway are planned between 21:00 on Saturday 17 December and 05:00 on Sunday 18 December. The new road layout is planned to open from 05:00 on 18 December.

Having been originally scheduled for January 2017, these works have been brought forward to coincide with the closures on Holloway Road and help avoid more disruption in the area in future. Please visit www.tfl.gov.uk/archway-gyratory for more details.
