Step free access at Mill Hill East welcomed by Dismore
Labour London Assembly Member for Barnet and Camden Andrew Dismore has welcomed news that the mayor of London Sadiq Khan has given the go-ahead to installing step-free access at Mill Hill East Station.
Mr Dismore said:
‘I’m delighted that my years of campaigning on this with local residents have paid off. Under 8 years of the previous Conservative Mayor, he said it should only be paid for by excess profits from the Millbrook Park development. That was never going to happen, and Sadiq had kept his word from the election.’
