Fully electric buses on Camden routes “vital” for tackling air quality

The 46 and 214 bus routes, which run from Lancaster Gate to St Bartholomew’s Hospital and from Finsbury Square to Highgate Village are to be served by fully-electric buses, after an announcement by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. Labour London Assembly Member for Barnet and Camden Andrew Dismore welcomed the move, saying:

‘The Mayor made tacking air pollution a major priority for his administration, it is good to see him putting that into practice by making the 46 and 214 routes fully electric. This is a welcome relief around Kings Cross especially, which has very poor air quality. ’
