Dismore Hails Step-Free access for Mill Hill Broadway
Labour London Assembly Member for Barnet and Camden Andrew Dismore has welcomed the announcement that Mill Hill Broadway station is to receive step-free access. The Thameslink Line station was one of 73 stations across the country which received “Access for all” funding from the Department for Transport
Mr Dismore said:
‘I have been campaigning for step-free access at this station for many years, and I am pleased to see that this is finally happening. Mill Hill Broadway Station is an extremely busy station which serves a large community who are not close to the tube and are reliant on Thameslink services. Improving step-free access is absolutely vital to ensuring more people have access to public transport and more access to work and employment opportunities, as well as the chance to enjoy all that London has to offer.’
