Thameslink station upgrades in Kentish Town welcomed

Local London Assembly Member Andrew Dismore AM welcomed news that Thameslink have agreed to a refurbishment of the station footbridge and new seating design, groundwork and installation on the platform.

London Assembly Member for Barnet and Camden Andrew Dismore said:

“Despite the impact of Coronavirus, it looks like there will continue to be a growth in the use of the Thameslink service because of the amount of development along the line, so these improvements are excellent news. It is good to see investment going into improving customer experiences at Kentish Town station.”

Anne Clarke, Labour candidate for Barnet and Camden in the London Assembly Elections next year added:

“I am delighted to hear that the Kentish Town Thameslink station will be improved, particularly refurbishment of the footbridge and new seating. Residents have done a fabulous job with the station garden and have made this station a pleasure to use. These improvements will add to the hard work of residents, I look forward to seeing the result of this investment.”
