Dismore to join poppy sellers

Andrew Dismore, Labour London Assembly candidate for Barnet and Camden, will join the Royal British Legion on Saturday 12th November, at Edgware Broadwalk, to take part, as he does every year, in selling poppies for the poppy appeal. He will also attend the Remembrance Sunday parade to the Edgware War Memorial and the following AJEX service at Edgware United Synagogue

Mr Dismore said:

“With our forces on active service, it is as important as it ever was, to support the poppy appeal. The Royal British Legion new Edgware Branch is always in need of extra helpers, and as honorary president of the Branch it has always been  important to me to find the time to join in with the sale of poppies. This is a vital opportunity not just to raise funds for the Legion’s charitable work on behalf of injured service people and their families, but also to remind people of the need to support our armed forces in the difficult and dangerous work we ask them to do.”
