Are the suppliers of maintenance parts and equipment prepared to advance credit to AssetCo / AB and A Ltd in light of the takeover?
Answer
The Authority pays a Unitary Charge on a monthly basis for the services provided under the contract. This includes provision for AssetCo’s normal costs of running the business including the supply of maintenance parts and equipment. There are therefore no additional concerns about AssetCo’s ability to meet its contractual commitments as a result of this share sale to AB & A.
