Statement on fire at Somalian Islamic Bravanese Welfare Centre, Muswell Hill
Following last night’s fire at the Somalian Islamic Bravanese Welfare Centre, in Coppetts Road, Muswell Hill, local London Assembly for Barnet Andrew Dismore AM said:
“The fire that has badly damaged the Somalian Islamic Bravanese Welfare Centre, in Coppetts Road last night is deeply saddening. I would like to pay tribute to the firefighters that attended the scene and helped to control the fire quickly. We need to allow the authorities time and space to investigate this incident.
Local Assembly Member for Haringey Joanne McCartney AM said:
“I would also like to pay tribute to our fire service for their actions and extend my support to the centre.”
