Andrew Dismore, Labour London Assembly member for Barnet and Camden  said:

“This is a real indictment of the performance of the NHS under this Government to think that on in seven  of the baby boys born in Camden  today will not  reach retirement  age is shocking.  We are not talking about those born in past years , but the position as it is today in real time.

“We need a Labour Government committed to the NHS to get to grips with this, to see what we can do to avoid this appalling outcome.”
