Education update, October and November
School places remain a major concern- London needs 100,000 new school places before 2018: see my blog on this.
I have also been raising the impact of ESOL cuts which are counter intuitive and a false economy, as English Language teaching cuts make it much harder for people o find work and engage fully in the community.
I also raised the risk to the London economy of the student visa restrictions.
