Camden Business Discretionary Grant Scheme open
New discretionary grant fund open for applications
We understand that the current situation is placing an unprecedented strain on our business community.
In May the government launched a new discretionary grant fund to support those businesses who are not eligible for the existing COVID related business grants scheme. Camden has been allocated £3.64m for this grant scheme, to distribute to businesses locally.
From information businesses have given us via our business survey, we know that it is highly likely that demand will exceed the available grants. We have had to give very careful consideration to ensure this funding can make a difference where it is most needed. As a result we will be focusing on:
1. Small and micro businesses
2. Businesses with relatively high ongoing fixed property-related costs and/or
3. Businesses which can demonstrate that they have suffered a significant fall in income due to the COVID-19 crisis
The grant fund is now open for applications. You can check the eligibility criteria against your business’ individual circumstances and apply online:
