Tube noise update from Colindale and Hendon from TfL
I am writing to let you know about track works that we have carried out on the Northern line in your constituency between Colindale and Hendon, in response to concerns raised with us about noise and vibrations.
In August 2020, we carried out track works in this area, including the removal of ballast from underneath the rail. I can now confirm that following this work, repeat measurements show that noise levels in this area have been significantly reduced.
We will continue to keep this area under review, and will carry out further investigation if residents report a further increase in noise levels.
