Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) – for businesses severely impacted by restrictions
Businesses that have been severely impacted by restrictions but have not been covered by other schemes may be able to apply for a grant of up to £3,000. We are prioritising businesses linked to the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sector including those in the supply chain and certain groups of freelance workers. These will be paid as a one-off grant. Payments will usually be paid at the following values except in exceptional circumstances:
- Properties with a rateable or annual rental value of £15,000 or under would receive a grant of £1,334
- Properties with a rateable or annual rental value of between £15,000 and £51,000 would receive a grant of £2,000
- Properties with a rateable or annual rental value over £51,000 would receive grant of £3,000
To qualify for the grant, you must have been trading on the first full day of national or local tier 2 restrictions (5 November 2020). Businesses that are in administration, insolvent or where a striking-off notice has been made, are not eligible.
The Council’s Additional Restrictions Grant scheme is now open for applications until 16 December 2020 at camden.gov.uk/business-support-grants

The Government’s Self-Employment Income Support Scheme has been extended to provide an additional grant for the three-month period covering November 2020 to January 2021.
The grant will cover 80% of average monthly trading profits, paid in a single instalment covering three months of profit up to £7,500.
