Notice of Publication of the replacement of the Spatial Development Strategy for Greater London

The London Plan 2021

On 2 March 2021, the Mayor of London published the replacement of the spatial development strategy for Greater London, which became operative on that date. The spatial development strategy sets a strategic framework for planning in Greater London.

A copy of the spatial development strategy and its accompanying environmental report and Sustainability Statement is available for public inspection on the Greater London Authority’s website at https://www.london.gov.uk/priorities/planning/london-plan and downloadable free of charge

Electronic copies of these documents may also be obtained by writing to The London Plan Team, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA, by emailing LondonPlan@london.gov.uk or by contacting 020 7983 5562. Email would be preferred due to the practical difficulties resulting from Coronavirus. Hard copies will be made available when it is reasonably practicable to do so, and for which a charge of £50 will be made.
